Collection Contest Winners are...

The total amount collected from Box Tops is $373.50.  This is given directly to the Pine Glen Library.  Way to go!

Campbell's Labels - Winners are:
1st Place -Nolan Berkeley
2nd Place -Elizabeth Gillespie
3rd Place -Brendan Shortell

Labels for Education goes by points and we earned 680 pts.  These points will be used to buy recess equipment.  Outstanding!

Prizes for the contest winners are as follows:
Pine Glen Carnival Tickets
1st Place - 20 tickets
2nd Place - 15 tickets
3rd Place - 10 tickets

The carnival will be held at Pine Glen on Saturday April 6th!!  Students can pick up their prize at the carnival.

Collection Contests

Since Friday was a snow day, the collection contests have been extended to Monday, February 11. 

There's still time to cut and paste those Box Tops and Campbell's Labels.

Winter Collection Contests have begun...

Check your child's backpack, Collection Contests for Box Tops and Campbell's Labels starts today!

The contest will run for the next two weeks, deadline for submission is February 8th.  Collect and paste as many Box Tops or Campbell's Labels to the contest sheets.  Additional sheets are available in the front office and will be available here on the PTO Blog (later today).

Prizes will be awarded to the student who submits the most sheets.

There are three collection sheets:
1. Box Tops.
2. Campbell's Labels - 1 point label (white sheet)
3. Campbell's Labels - 5 point label (pink sheet) 

Reminder if the Campbell's Label doesn't have a point value on the label than it is worth 1 point.

Prizes are:
1st Place - 20 Pine Glen Carnival Tickets
2nd Place - 15 Pine Glen Carnival Tickets
3rd Place - 10 Pine Glen Carnival Tickets

PTO Meeting

The first PTO Meeting of 2013 is this Thursday, January 10th.  

Special guest this month is Patrick Larkin, Assistant Superintendent of the Burlington School District. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what's happening at the district level.  If you are interested in getting a jump start, here's a link to his blog http://www.patrickmlarkin.com/

Doors open at 6:30pm for meet and greet.  Meeting starts promptly at 7:00pm and is held in the Pine Glen lobby.
