We would like to thank everyone who helped make last evening's Pine Glen BBQ such a fun family time.   Many thanks to Erynn Mitchell for again chairing this event and much appreciation to all the volunteers who helped run it.  With catering from the Outback Steakhouse and music delivered by a DJ, families were able to enjoy dinner near the playground while the children played.  Pine Glen families were also treated to a visit by the Lowell Spinners Canaligator and School Superintendent Dr. Eric Conti!


Katie Lyons (Principal Lyons' wife) won the 50/50 raffle and then generously donated her winnings to the Pine Glen Family Fund, that assists Pine Glen families in need.  Thank-you Mrs. Lyons!  Through the participation of many, we raised $102 for this fund.  Thanks also to Catherine Gillespie, our new PTO Co Vice-President, for assisting me at the raffle table.


The next PTO sponsored event is 5th-grade graduation on Thursday, June 16th, 6-8 p.m.  We need 4th-grade parents to assist with serving refreshments during the reception because parents of 5th graders will be attending the ceremony.  Please contact Maria Woods at 781/270-4584 or woodscounty@verizon.net, if can you help.
